Vintage Design
Scandinavian Mid-Century modern dining room chairs in Nordic oak. Very likely designed by Henning Kjærnulf, Denmark as he often incorporated a mix of baroque and brutalist details in many of his designs in the 50s and 60s.
These chairs were originally purchased for a Danish inn in 1960 and were in use until 1989, they have been in storage since then.
They feature a rustic cabin or farmhouse-like feel with their solid wellbuilt and patinated oak structure.
These chairs are unrestored but all joints are firm and the chairs are structurally sound. Needs new upholstery.
Good original condition with patina consistent with age and use, please see photos.
