Vintage 1940’s Burgundy Corduroy Dress UK 8 US 4

The slim V shaped neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line. The short length sleeves boast slim gathered pleats along the top of each joining sleeve seam. The fitted bodice is accented by a curved seam beneath the bust-line from which gathered pleats radiate across the bust. The fitted waist panel boasts a rounded bottom seam, which draws the eye to the panelled cut of the skirt, completing this dress in an iconic 1940’s silhouette. The back of the dress features a curved base waist seam.
