The patchwork aesthetic is this fall and winter’s most sought after look, which was proven on the runways during fashion month. Designers created plenty of patchwork pieces for their Fall collections, including Gucci, Prada, Marni, Kenzo, Alexander McQueen, and more. Now, available only on 1stdibs is this very expensive new, vintage snakeskin patchwork full length coat with luxurious sheared mink lining and sumptuous black fox fur trim on the collar, extending down the front opening, as well as on the cuffs and hem. Coat is fully lined in sheared mink and has a sewn in velvet tie. I was told this was a runway sample and is circa 1970’s by designer, Jeremy Wren. Purchased originally at Saks Fifth Avenue. No size label, but feels like a ladies size 6 to 8. Please see measurements for exact fit.
This coat would easily retail for over $30,000.00 if it was made today. In excellent vintage condition.
