Regency Chesterfield Brown Leather Reading Armchair

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original Regency circa 1810-1820 Chesterfield distressed leather library reading armchair This is a very decorative piece, the leather color is to die for, luxury furniture restorers have been trying to replicate this look, colour and finish for years, you can only achieve it through buying quality and aging honestly This chair is strong stable and well made, the leather is very old but in good order, there are two heavily scratched areas, one on the back of the left arm and a section to the top back left, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished the piece from top to bottom. I can have the chair fully restored to include new patches of leather in any sore areas, then hand dyed a wonderful cigar or whisky brown colour, if you are interested in the full restoration cost please let me know.
