rich bronze ornamentation with impeccable gilding.
Made entirely of Cuban mahogany and mahogany burl with a majestic and abundant gilded bronze decoration in the style of Hector Guimard.
this bed has been separated from a set of furniture in my possession, comprising
– Two armoire bookcases
– Two console bedside tables (pair)
– A large center bed with openwork uprights
– And a center flat desk
Note that only the large bed and one armoire bear the Majorelle Nancy stamp (coquille à chaud).
In view of the quality of the bronzes, they could be attributed to a major foundryman of the period.
