In the height and inclination of adjustable reading table made of solid pine wood.
The table top is mounted on a stable and elegantly profiled column. There is a crank on the outside, with the help of which the plate can be set to the desired height. The inclination can be locked by a mother below the plate.
Also below the plate we see a striking stamp “Brevet W S.G.D.G.”, which occupies the patent registered in Paris.
On the right of the crank there is another stamp. The “Bazar du Voyage Paris” was founded in 1843 and developed into one of the most important furniture shops in Paris in the second half of the 19th century.
The table was designed with the out -of -meter pillar and the roles attached to the underlying on the underside. The adjustability of the inclination is possible in both directions, so there is also a bookkeeping on both sides.
Condition: processed condition with a beautiful age spatina.
