Vintage Design
Stunning set of 6 dining chairs in oak and rattan cane designed by Danish designer Børge Mogensen and manufactured at P. Lauritsen & Søn. This set is from the very early production of this iconic chair. All chairs have been rewoven in accordance with the original technique and materials by a skilled cabinetmaker in Denmark. The BM61 chair was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958, based on a minimal, yet extremely robust construction. The structured design is, however, enriched with outstanding comfort and carefully crafted details, such as its exposed finger joints and seat and back in cane wicker.
